Halloween creeps in at Singapore Flyer this October, with unnerving ghouls and ghosts that will take your innermost fears beyond the next level!
On 20 October 2011 (Thu), I was privileged to be amongst the first in Singapore to experience Singapore Flyer's Fright Fest, courtesy of Marina Bay Singapore, Singapore Flyer and omy.sg.
Before we enter into Fright Fest, we took the Singapore Flyer Flight and enjoyed the night view.
:: Journey of Dreams ::
The interactive gallery seeks to enhance guest experience as it gives a better understanding and appreciation of the Singapore Story and the iconic Singapore Flyer. It presents an immersive experience through the use of interactive multimedia and intimate storytelling format told through the lens of Singapore Flyer.

The Story accumulates with each gallery and culminates in the climatic realisation of the actual view onboard Flyer's scenic flights. This attraction aims to create the emotional resonance with Singapore Flyer and how the success story of Singapore's transformation is the very foundation that sets the possibility of its engineering and architectural breakthrough.
Journey of Dreams. Singapore Flyer. preflight gallery.
Scale model of Singapore Flyer (1:500).
Augmented Reality.
Look out for these design artworks at one of the galleries, "DREAM Reflections". These are designed by me for Singapore Flyer’s ‘What Wheel It Be’ Competition, way back in March 2008, but didn't win anything. I was pleasantly surprised and excited to see them again after so many years!
Welcome to Singapore Flyer.
Look up at the ceiling of the capsule to know where are the cardinal directions.
Magnificent night view of the Marina Bay from Singapore Flyer's capsule.
:: FrightFest ::
Away from predictable ghostly hide-outs, be the first to check out frightfest in the city, as Singapore Flyer’s award-winning rainforest will be transformed into an eerie hideout of the scariest.
Confront your Fear. 有种就进来。
Offering incense.
An oriental-themed hideout – with spirits resurrected from Chinese tombstones, Japanese graveyards and hantu (ghost) mansions.
Look out for Chinese ‘gui’, Japanese ‘yurei’ and Malay ‘hantus’.
Challenge your threshold for horror and come face-to-face with fright, as unrest souls resurrect from the Chinese tombstones, Japanese graveyards, and Hantu mansion – all seeking to look for a humanly substitute to unleash all their hatred, sorrow and anger.
Ward off Evil Spirits with this Talisman. 驱鬼符。
It was a frighteningly good time! Enter only if you dare...
